Start Character Creation

Click on “Create Character” in the left navigation bar to begin the character creation process.

1. Basic

You have successfully arrived at the 'Create Character' page. From now on, I will guide you through the character creation process in detail.

① Import (Optional)

You can upload a JSON file to create a custom character.

② Character's Name

Use a name that fits your character—it’s how others will find them and how you’ll talk to them in chat. Mentioning the name in their personality helps keep things consistent and flexible.
Tip: Please use a proper noun that is not ambiguous as the character's name (e.g., not 'Sky') and ensure the character and player names are different.

③ Gender

Select a gender for your character.

④ Age

Add your character’s age. Please remember, content with minors isn’t allowed.

⑤ Title

Enter the details you can recognize. It doesn't affect story creation!

⑥ World View

Describe the character’s world view or background. This helps users better understand them.
Use keywords like {{user}} and {{char}} to enhance interaction between the user and the character.

Tip: The character’s world view strongly influences their actions and dialogue, so define it carefully.

e.g.
'{{char}}' leads a notorious crew of space pirates. '{{user}}' joins them in a hunt for legendary treasures across the galaxy.
'{{char}}' is a legendary chef known as the god of cuisine. '{{user}}' is their apprentice, striving to become the world’s best cook.

⑦ Character Introduction

Describe your character in detail to help users understand and connect with them.

⑧ Creator’s Comments

Add a chraracter introduction or explain your creative intent. Optionally, include an unlocking phrase to hint at hidden images.

⑨ Greeting

The greeting is the first thing your character says when a new conversation begins. It sets the tone, defines the character’s personality, and influences future responses.

Tips for writing a good greeting:

Do not write from {{user}}'s (your) perspective. ❌ Incorrect: I see {{char}} walking toward me. ✅ Correct: {{char}} is walking toward you.
The greeting style affects the entire conversation. A short greeting may lead to short responses. A detailed, immersive greeting encourages rich, expressive replies.
Use proper formatting. Actions should be placed inside asterisks (e.g., *smiles warmly*). Poor formatting can cause the character to behave unpredictably.
Match the tone to the character. If your character is friendly, show it in the greeting. Use unique speech patterns (e.g., stuttering) right away to establish their voice.
Avoid including {{user}}'s dialogue into the greeting. This may cause the character to speak for the user and break immersion.

e.g. Selene pushes the door open without knocking, a sly grin tugging at her lips. She strolls in like she owns the place, eyes locking onto {{user}}. “You weren’t planning to start the fun without me, were you?” she teases, tossing her jacket onto a nearby chair. “Your place has better lighting anyway—perfect for making an entrance.”

⑩ Secrets (Optional)

Add secret information that’s hidden from users at first. This can include plot twists, hidden identities, or secret motivations that are revealed through conversation
❌ NSFW content must only be added here. Including such content in public fields may result in restrictions.
e.g.
- {{char}} is actually a time traveler on a secret mission from the future.
- {{char}} is a double agent caught between two powerful organizations.

Tip: Hidden details add depth and mystery to your character—try including a twist to make interactions more engaging.

⑫ Example dialogs (Optional)

Add example dialogues to clarify how your character speaks and behaves. The more examples you provide, the better the system understands their tone, vocabulary, and personality.
How to write: Format it like a real conversation between {{user}} and {{char}}.

e.g. {{user}}: What’s your typical day like? {{char}}: Wake up at 6, jog for an hour, and then the chaos begins! I jump between missions, training, and annoying my teammates just enough to keep things fun.
{{user}}: What’s your favorite season? {{char}}: Summer, no contest. Sun, sweat, and endless adventures—I live for it!

Tip: Make sure your example dialogues reflect your character’s tone, word choices, and typical reactions. This helps define their unique voice and makes conversations feel more authentic.

⑪ Tags

Choose 1 to 5 tags to describe your character (required). Tags help users quickly understand their personality or story traits, and make the character easier to find.

⑬ Content Type

If your character contains NSFW content, make sure to enable the NSFW setting before publishing. If characters containing explicit content are set to 'SFW' (visible to all users), they may be blocked without warning.

⑭ Voice

Select a voice for your character to speak with. Click the Add Image button to upload a file, or simply drag and drop an image into the upload area.

2. Create Image

Add an image to bring your character profile to life.

① Upload Image

Click the Upload Image button to upload a file.

② Create by AI

Choose Image Creation Model
Write a brief description below the image to help the system change the image contextually during conversations.

Tip: Your image is the first impression of your character—pick one that reflects their personality and overall vibe.

③ Hidden

When an image is hidden, players must enter the correct unlocking phrase during chat to view it.

④ Public

All players can view the image.

3. Last

You're almost done—just one last step.

① Upload thumbnail

Add a great-looking thumbnail to make your character more eye-catching and engaging!

② Visibility

Character visibility defines who can interact with your character.
- Public: Anyone can search for and view
- Unlisted: Not publicly visible—only accessible via a shared link.
- Private: Only you can see and chat with the character.

Tip: Double-check your visibility setting. If set to Private, your character won’t appear on the main page or search results.

Token-Saving Tips:

Use keywords instead of full sentences to reduce token usage.
e.g. Sharp eyes, long silver hair, medieval armor
Use English if possible—it's more token-efficient. If you need help with translation, tools like ChatGPT or DeepL can assist you.
